Installing JackBeQuick on your Triumph Thunderbird 1600/1700
***Made in U.S.A.***
Read and understand instructions completely before beginning. Wear proper safety equipment, & observe standard shop safety. Tighten all hardware to factory torque specs. If you are not completely comfortable with the installation, have your JackBeQuick installed by competent professional mechanic.
Install the Rear Bracket before installing the front bracket.
NC (NON Catalytic Converter ONLY): Rear Bracket Installation.
1. Using 14MM socket, remove left and right passenger foot peg/floorboard mounts (2 bolts each side) It is not necessary to remove pegs/floorboards from mounts. Set assemblies aside for reinstallation. The bolts will not be reused.
2. Use caution sliding the JackBeQuick bracket up from the left side. Watch for interference with left rear heat shield clamp bolt. Loosen and rotate clamps if necessary to avoid interference. Loosely insert two new mount bolts. Use the M10X50 in forward/higher foot peg mount hole and M10X40 in aft/lower hole. Hand turn a few threads to ensure JackBeQuick is in proper position on left side.
3. On the right side, using supplied M10X50 & M10X40 bolts and M10 washers, install right foot peg/floorboard. Using 8MM Allen socket, tighten the two right foot peg/floorboard mount bolts.
4. Remove the loosely installed bolts on left side of JackBeQuick and using M10 washers, reinstall foot peg/floorboard. Using an 8MM Allen socket, tighten the bolts.
5. The adapter is held in place with the two pins, and fills the gap between JBQ and the M/C -ATV lift to provide a lifting surface that does not put weight on the exhaust system or sump.
DO NOT OPERATE MOTORCYCLE WITH THE ADAPTER IN PLACE!

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16
